Howdy! I’m Brosatsu.

I’m a professional artist and designer with over a decade of experience drawing, designing, and illustrating everything you can think of.

In my career I’ve had the fortune of working on hundreds of contracts creating kids books, storyboards, mascots, ads, graphic design, creative writing, music, concept art, characters, video game assets, and just about anything else you can imagine. Some of my prouder moments include working on assets for multi-million dollar companies such as Lindt, Pepperidge Farms, and Campbell’s Soup Company (one of my favorites was getting to draw some promo art for the 2021 Ghostbusters movie).

DEV AND DAY TO DAY

Open journal/thougths and dev log of the cool stuff I do

• Long overdue website build

  I’ve been putting off building a master website for far too long – years even.

  Make serious headway today putting it all together. The backend and page structure is mostly set up. Now it’s just putting the backlog up.

  Unfortunately had a huge setback trying to figure out the email list/software issue. First beehiiv was working, but then they started charging like $100/mo – which felt excessive for sending a few emails a month about poses or art guides. So I switched to Kit, but that had the functionality of a paper bag. Then I tried to get in touch with the Patreon people, because they’re trying to update their own systems to accommodate for email lists – but they are in beta and took forever to respond.

  Finally I think I’m settling into substack. Wish me luck.

  But, given the sillyness of all that there hasn’t been a home for all the content I’ve made so full speed ahead with this website so when somebody needs a guide or an article I can actually link them.

  What fun.
